St Stephen's has become the second primary school in Bury to receive Asthma Accreditation, recognised by the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
The scheme recognises schools that demonstrate best practice in supporting children with asthma.
Including the introduction of an asthma policy, staff and pupil training, awareness posters, and emergency asthma kits.
Mr Smith, SEND coordinator at St Stephen's, said: "We’re proud to be the second primary school in Bury to earn this award.
"This shows our commitment to supporting every child’s wellbeing.
"Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this."
The school worked with staff, pupils, and families to improve asthma awareness and response.
A Year 5 pupil said: "I have asthma and now I understand it so much better and feel much safer."
