PE days are: Monday and Thursday.
Please ensure that your child comes to school in their PE kit on those days.

This year your child will have their reading books changed on a Monday and on a Thursday. Your child will get 2 books to bring home. Both books will be linked to their current phonic learning and will be decodable for your child. If your child finishes their books before a change day we would like you to encourage them to read it again. This will help them to develop fluency and prosody.
Each Friday your child will be given a spelling list from the Year 6 word list. Your child will be expected to put these words into a sentence as part of their homework. Your child will then have a ‘spelling quiz’ on these spellings the following Friday. Please help your child practise these spellings at home.
Home learning menus support their curriculum learning in class. It is project-based and designed to further include parents in their child’s learning. At the end of each half term, the children will have the opportunity to showcase their learning and achieve house points from the tasks that they have completed.
Children will be given home learning and spellings to complete on a Friday. This will be due back in school the following Wednesday.
