Children usually start in our Pre-school Nursery class the September after their 3rd birthday as this is when funding is available. Children may start as soon as they turn 3 if parents wish to pay for the place and there are places available.
Where we have spaces available, children may be able to take up an 'early bird' place as soon as they have had their 3rd birthday.

To apply for a place at St Stephen's Primary School, please click on the link below. Entry to Reception class in September is managed by Bury Council and applications must be made to them.
Please note, it is not necessary to attend Church in order to apply for a place at St Stephen's CE Primary School. However, we welcome families who do attend a place of worship regularly and a few children each year can be admitted under this category- please refer to the Admissions Policy. The supplementary form is available to be completed with your Faith Leader, should you attend a church.
