Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school everyday and has a warm, waterproof coat.
Reading books and reading records should be brought into school daily.

Children will receive home learning on a Friday and this should be completed and returned to school the following Thursday.
Spellings: New spellings are taught on Monday and displayed in the classroom throughout the week. A copy of the word list is given out each Monday for children to practise at home. Children are then tested the following Monday.
Reading books: Your child's reading books will be changed as and when they have been read. Should your child's book need changing, please encourage your child to let their teacher know.
Reading books are chosen from a wide selection of reading scheme and/or library books. Please encourage your child to read every night. We ask parents to sign reading records to share the child’s reading with us, plus any celebrations or concerns you may also want to share.
Children are expected to read at least 3 times in a week.
